Wooden Cable Drum Production

Logs, which are the raw materials of Sanmak Makara’s products, are purchased through the forest products tenders opened by the state or through the sale of various other producers. Thanks to the high quality raw materials we attach great importance to, superior products are obtained. The raw materials used are special and productive trees such as calabrian pine, black pine and fir.

The logs used in the production of the wooden cable reels, which is the main product of Sanmak Makara, are primarily processed in the log cutting machine. Hundreds of m3 of logs are processed every day in these modern cutting machines. As a result of the processes, the timbers are obtained. Then, they are carefully stacked and left to dry in order to be used in reels suitable for their structures.

The dried timber is processed in our cutting-edge cable reel nailing and processing machines, and thus is brought to the dimensions desired by our customers. Supersensitive production is achieved by our fully automatic reel processing lines. Thanks to our heat treatment furnace in accordance with ISPM-15 standards, our products are finalized in accordance with legal obligations and become ready for delivery. The products can be shipped as assembled or disassembled according to the preference of our customers.
