Founded in Mudanya, Bursa, Turkey in 2010 after long years of professional experience in the sector, Sanmak Makara is on its way for becoming one of the leading companies in the wood and timber industry.

Having a large share in the wooden cable drum market throughout Turkey, Sanmak Makara has expanded its network day by day and opens up to international markets in line with its export target.

Providing services mainly to energy&telecommunications cable producers and conductor rope&wire producers, Sanmak Makara continues to increase its production capacity. The company has become a supplier of corporate firms locally and globally which produce cables and reels.

Factory

Sanmak Makara, which is established on an open area of 10.000 m2 and an indoor area of 5.000 m2, continues production in its facility in Bursa. The special logs purchased (calabrian pine, black pine, fir, etc.) are passed through various production stages in the plant, and production of wooden drums and wooden packaging materials takes place.

At the facility equipped with the latest technology, Sanmak Makara produces especially wooden cable drums of all types but also all types of wooden packaging materials such as crates, cages, storage chests, veneer boards etc... The company has proven automation in production and has more than 30 employees. The production capacity of Sanmak Makara, which constantly improves its facility with new machinery, has been increasing year over year.

15.000 m3 timber, 40.000 wooden cable drums (diameters from 40 to 320cm) and a substantial amount of wooden packaging materials are produced annually by Sanmak Makara. The ISPM-15 standard for marking wood packaging materials used in international circulation by heat treatment or fumigation processes is also fulfilled within the facility.
